Flownamics introduces the Peltier+™ Sample Cooling System — our most compact and fully self-contained cooling device. Designed for efficiency and precision, this thermoelectric system uses advanced Peltier cooling technology to keep racks of samples at consistent temperatures without the need for external chillers or coolant lines. By combining the rapid response of Peltier elements with the stable performance typically associated with liquid chillers, the Peltier+ delivers the best of both worlds—dry, maintenance-free operation with highly reliable cooling.
The Peltier+ features two independent cooling zones, allowing different temperature setpoints for each side. This flexibility enables simultaneous cooling of two distinct sample types or workflows. Operation is simple: just power on the unit and set your desired temperatures using the dual digital controllers located on the front panel. The current operating range is -2° to 20° Celsius, and the front display provides real-time coolant temperature monitoring for added assurance.
No assembly or training is required, making the Peltier+ a true plug-and-play solution. Integrated condensation management helps minimize moisture buildup on work surfaces, while built-in safety functionality automatically shuts down the system in the event of a coolant issue, protecting both users and equipment. With no external pumps or tubing to manage, ongoing maintenance is minimal, making it ideal for busy lab environments.
This system supports a wide range of rack and vial formats, from 2 mL HPLC vials to 50 mL conical tubes. It is optimized for use with Flownamics racks, which are designed to ensure proper thermal contact and alignment, but it can also be used with other rack types. Custom racks and configurations are available upon request to meet your specific application needs. The Peltier+ also accommodates microtiter plates, with space for two plates per cooling surface.
