- Mid-Atlantic/Northeast US
- New England
- Research Triangle Park, North Carolina
- Southern California
Responsibilities:
- Promote Flownamics’ products and services utilizing all available sales tools (e.g., samples, papers, webinars, presentations, literature, product demos)
- Compile and maintain documentation of prospective users, including status of sales leads and opportunities
- Travel throughout the assigned territory calling on both existing and prospective users
- Record and document sales activities (e.g., phone calls, emails, visits) in the CRM database
- Analyze market and competition; adapt strategies for changing conditions
- Develop and maintain relationships with users
- Promptly manage a variety of user requests (e.g., deliveries, pricing, quality)
- First point of contact for sales leads and quote requests
- Identify new accounts using a variety of resources (e.g., industry databases, trade shows, e-leads)
- Develop action plans to increase awareness and drive sales for newly identified accounts
- Advocate for the user and submit user feedback and requirements
- Coordinate and participate in trade shows/webinars/conferences in assigned territory
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
- Sales experience and/or user experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
- Experience in selling capital equipment and consumables
- At least 3 years of working in a user-facing role within the biopharma industry preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point) and CRM experience
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from users and colleagues
- Solid communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel up to 30%, including some overnight travel

To support continued growth, we are looking for individuals with technical hands-on experience in upstream and downstream processing to perform on-site system set-ups, installations, training, and post-sales support.

Requirements Include:
- Desirable candidates have a solid understanding of upstream/downstream applications, user processes from an engineering perspective, and process control software.
- 4+ years of bioprocess experience

- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Willing to travel overnight 25-50% of the time

We are seeking two Applications Engineers who are eager to be a part of a growing company. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, reliable, and team-oriented. Responsibilities:
- Provide routine service and technical support to users
- Test new applications and systems
- Work with product development team to create new integrations
- Installation of equipment at user’s sites
- Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure that equipment is performing at optimal levels
- Assist sales partners with surveying of prospective users
- Assist sales partners with new applications with both existing and new users
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
- 25% to 50% overnight travel required
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with software programing
- Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work independently

Flownamics® Inc., an industry leader in Automated Sampling Systems, is looking for an Inside Sales Engineer position in our Madison, WI office.
Responsibilities include:
- Qualify leads and develop sales opportunities through phone calls, emails and LinkedIn
- Follow up with leads and/or forward to appropriate reps/distributors
- Prepare thorough product and service quotes
- Contribute to and support current territories by building and maintaining relationships with partners and reps
- Focus on acquiring new users while maintaining existing user base
- Develop technical proposals, detailed scope of work documents, and lead user discussions
- Attend conference sales calls, pre-meetings, and proposal walk-throughs for potential projects
- Consult with Product Management & Engineering to develop proposals
- Contribute to weekly team meetings to share market feedback and product specific findings
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry, partners, and competitors
- Prepare forecast reports as requested
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience in both inside sales and direct phone sales support
- Biotech and/or medical device industry experience strongly preferred
- Technical knowledge of fermentation and/or cell culture preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Responsible, reliable and eager to learn
- Ability to be flexible with a positive attitude and an exceptional eye for detail
- Ability and willingness to consistently follow and manage detailed procedures
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and time management skills
