Aseptic Sampling Regulator (ASR)

The ASR manages the sampling and cleaning of the line between the reactor and the Seg-Flow.

Description

An Aseptic Sampling Regulator (ASR) is installed at each reactor or process stream that is connected to a Seg-Flow S3®, a Seg-Flow S3G® and an Acquire Automated Sampling System. (The Seg-Flow PS Sampling System does not require an ASR.) The ASR manages the sampling and cleaning of the line between the reactor and the Seg-Flow. The ASR is mounted onto the Flownamics FISP Sampling Probe, Flownamics Dip Tube or the reactor dip tube/sample port tube with an ASR bracket. The bracket can also be mounted onto the ASR Ring Stand if using reactors smaller than 1 L or sampling from process streams.

Features & Connections

  • Enables the extraction of sample from one additional location when connected to a Seg-Flow S3 or Acquire Sampling Systems
  • Can be used to take both a Cell-Containing and Cell-Free Sample from the same bioreactor with a single sampling stream
  • Same fluid path cleaning mechanism used by Seg-Flow S3 and Acquire Sampling Systems
  • Backwards Compatible with S3 Seg-Flow
